You can delete songs by plugging your nano into your computer and opening up iTunes. Then when iTunes opens click on the nano on the side window, then if it is gray then that means it is locked and it is auto transfer songs that are in your library of music. If it is in black words then just click on a song you want to delete. by pressing your delete button on your keyboard. YOU CAN NOT DELETE SONGS FROM YOUR IPOD WITHOUT YOUR COMPUTER-by Jenifur G–so how do i make it NOT gray???

when you plug in your ipod, on the page that says _____’s iPod, click the box next to “Manually manage music and videos”
