How do I place web counters and PayPal widgets on my WordPress website?

  1. I assume you already have the code for the PayPal widget and counter? These are usually supplied by the company providing them in a form you can copy and then paste into your WP blog.

    As a rule, it should simply be a matter of pasting the code into a sidebar widget in your WordPress “Appearances” section.

    You need to add a “Text” widget (or more than one, if you prefer - one for PayPal, one for the counter). In each, simply edit the text widget and paste in the code you’ve been given.

    There *may* be a problem with some themes in which case it can get a little complicated. However, in the vast majority of cases, the above should work.
